Shipments and returns
Goods can be delivered throughout the United States free of charge. If goods are ordered for a location outside of the United States, we will assess shipping charges and inform our customer on the cost to ship prior to starting manufacturing. We aim to deliver your order between 1-8 weeks, depending on your order. For items that are larger than the listed sizes, it may take extra time to manufacture. Any special needs regarding delivery of goods for a client should be communicated to email@example.com.
Smith Lighting Supply uses the best carriers available depending on the size of an item and the location of the delivery. We ask that you still use good practice and judgment when accepting deliveries.
-We ask you to check that your delivered products have arrived in perfect condition, before signing the delivery form, so please open and check your order when you receive it.
-If the delivered item does not match your order, or is damaged, please note this on the delivery form and contact us immediately.
-If you are not satisfied with the goods upon delivery, please note this on the delivery form and contact us immediately.
-Larger pieces are delivered by special-handling couriers, we ask that you follow all the same procedures for these deliveries as well.
-We will repair any faults on our delivered products to your satisfaction and make good on any deficiencies with the products ordered.
-All damaged goods claims must be accompanied with photos showing the damages in question.
For delivery of goods to a commercial structure, delivery takes place on the ground floor outside the building or entrance gates. Customers are required to help the driver off-loading the products from the truck if the piece is too large for one person to handle. According to the size and weight of the purchased items, customers can be required to have other people to help at the time of delivery (These conditions vary depending on the carrier service contracted for the delivery and the size of the item).
If an item is too large to transfer from the delivery vehicle to the entrance of the receiving party, you will be contacted by the carrier service to set up the most appropriate delivery time.
If you would you like to change the delivery address, please contact our customer service (419-718-3919 or firstname.lastname@example.org ) as soon as you know you will need the change.
The delivery service can only deliver through a ground floor or basement entrance which is close to a road suitable for delivery access. You must tell us when placing your order about any special factors that may result in delivery being more costly and/or taking longer than it otherwise would have, such as parking restrictions, narrow bridges at small entrances.
